A Big Bash Holi Celebration at DPGITM Engineering College

Students of DPGITM Engineering College celebrated the festival of Colours- Holi at the campus. On the occasion Students and faculty members rubbed ‘Gulaal’ on each other’s face.

Gurgaon, Haryana, India., March 19, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) - The colourful carnival- Holi, among students and faculty members at DPGITM Engineering College, made the ambience more exuberant and vivid. Students rubbed 'gulal' and 'abeer' on each other’s' faces and cheered up saying, "bura na maano Holi hai”…  Chairman- Rajender Gahlot, presided the event and delivered his warm wishes to students. The colourful environment of the college also echoed with festive Bollywood songs like- ‘balam pichkaari……’, ‘holi kele raghuveera…….’ and ‘rang barse……... Vice Chairman- Deepak Gahlot, Principal, DPG Polytechnic- C R Mor and Principal, DPGITM Engineering College- J S Mehenwal were also graced the occasion.

Mr. Rajender Gahlot said that Holi is considered as the festival of brotherhood and unity. He also added that this Colourful festival, being a symbol of love and merriment, gives an opportunity to connect with our dear ones, provides a chance to lead a fresh life.

The campus was reverberating with Holi songs and students were ablaze with excitement.  Student- Pooja said that these kinds of celebration filled students with a new energy while Aditya stated that it was a wonderful experience to celebrate holi with faculty members. The event ended with thanks note by Deepak Gahlot.
