Big South Korean Company Produces Wide Steel Plate Rolling Equipment

These companies reside in Germany, Japan and Sweden and are specialist in equipment for plate bending, section bending and plate rolling.


December 13, 2011 - (PressReleasePoint) -A Company in South Korea well established in the car manufacturing industry among others has come into the news because of its latest high end steel product. This company is a worldwide giant and received an order to produce a 5 meter wide steel plat roller for a Indian company. 

 
This order for this large type of machinery has been the first for a Korean company.
The South Korean giant joins a club of only six other companies in the world who are able to manufacture steel plate rollers with a diameter of more than five meters. These companies reside in Germany, Japan and Sweden and are specialist in equipment for plate bending, section bending and plate rolling.
 
Specialist in the market have indicated that they expect that demand for super-wide plate rolling machinery will reach 250 million tons per year. Because the numbers of suppliers is limited every supplier which can be added will contribute to the health of the industry.
