New role is designed to support clients’ growth needs

MUMBAI, INDIA (21 NOVEMBER, 2011) - Black & Veatch has hired KaushikMukherjee as Regional General Manager, Sales, to work with local clients toimprove India’s energy infrastructure.

Kaushik brings 18 years of extensive planning and engineering, procurement,and construction (EPC) expertise, having developed and supported the executionof multiple major power generation projects. He is based in Black &Veatch’s Mumbai office.

Kaushik’s experience willfurther help to improve conditions in many of India’s communities.”  

Black & Veatch provided project management and conceptual designservices for the Sasan and Krishnapatnam power projects, among the largestmulti-unit coal plants in the world. The company is currently providing designservices for the Samalkot power plant (2,400 MW). When completed in 2012 itwill be the largest natural gas-fueled facility in India. In addition, Black& Veatch provided innovative sulfur processing solutions for the Jamnagarrefining complex, the largest refinery in the world.
