Boykin and Eastridge Take Home Final Women's Soccer Player of the Week Awards

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Madison Boyken of Columbia (Mo.) and Haylee Eastridge of Missouri Baptist have been named AMC Women's Soccer Players of the Week awards, the Conference Office announced on Monday. Boyken (Defensive) and Eastridge (Offensive) was selected based on their performances Oct. 23-29.

This is the final AMC Women's Soccer Players of the Week awards of 2017.

AMC Defensive Player of the Week
Madison Boyken, Columbia (Mo.)
Jr., Gk, Columbia, Mo.

  • Made three stops for the Cougars.
  • Helped Columbia to two shutouts.
  • Did not allow a goal in 180 minutes.
  • This is her first-career AMC Women's Soccer Player of the Week award.

AMC Offensive Player of the Week
Haylee Eastridge, Missouri Baptist
Sr., Mid., Hillsboro, Mo.

  • Scored five goals and five assists on the week for the 2-0 Spartans.
  • Tallied three goals against St. Louis Pharmacy, her fifth hat trick of the season.
  • She leads the AMC in six offensive categories and is fourth in the NAIA in goals (28) and fifth in points (63).
  • Now has nine multi-goal games this season.
  • This is her third-career AMC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award.

Other Notable Performances:  

  • Alyssa Gregory, Park (Mo.): Made six stops on the week and allowed just two goals in 200 minutes.
  • Stephanie Venvertloh, Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.): Helped the Trojans to two shutouts, giving them their first AMC tournament berth in several years. Venvertloh had a crucial block and a goal line clearance to hold both shutouts. She also had a goal and an assist against St. Louis Pharmacy.
  • Emma Chatterton, Park (Mo.): Scored two goals for the Pirates.
  • Aurora Henriksen, William Woods (Mo.): Tallied the Owls only two goals on the week.
  • Caitlyn Gardner, Stephens (Mo.): Scored two goals and had three assists for the Stars who went 1-1.
  • Laurie Frew, Columbia (Mo.): Recorded three goals and two assists on the week.
