Park has joined its Seattle office as a partner in the firm’s Technology & Intellectual Property Group. A registered patent attorney, Brian handles high-stakes, high-risk litigation involving clients' most important assets, including their technologies, secrets, brands, creative work product, and business deals.

Brian represents clients in patent infringement and patent false marking cases as well as other forms of intellectual property and commercial disputes involving copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and contracts. In addition, Brian has experience in the preparation of patent/technology opinions and commercial agreements to safeguard a wide range of intellectual property rights and business interests. Having represented clients ranging from small, privately held companies to large, multinational corporations, he has technical experience in the mechanical, chemical, electrical, biomedical, computer science, brand management, and industrial engineering arts.

According to Steve Lovett, Stoel Rives Technology & Intellectual Property Practice Group Leader, “Brian’s technical background and IP litigation experience are a very nice addition to the firm’s intellectual property group, which provides full-service IP and patent counseling and litigation services to companies around the country.” The group consists of more than 50 lawyers throughout the firm’s markets including Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Brian is named to “America’s Leading Lawyers for Business” (Washington) by Chambers USA and Washington Super Lawyers. He is co-chair of the Intellectual Property Committee for the Federal Bar Association of the Western District of Washington and co-founder and Executive Committee member of the Seattle Intellectual Property American Inn of Court (Linn Alliance).

Before joining Stoel Rives, Brian was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, an associate at Seed and Berry LLP, an associate at Bogle & Gates PLLC, and a judicial clerk to the Honorable Wilkes C. Robinson of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Brian received a J.D. from George Washington University Law School (1995) and a B.A. in philosophy, with a pre-medicine minor, from Stanford University (1992).
