Vornado Realty Trust, one of the largest owners and managers of commercial real estate in the United States, consulted Baltimore-based The Barnycz Group to create innovative digital billboards to attract forward-thinking retailers.
Having partnered with Barco on the American Eagle Outfitters LED display in Times Square, founder and president Danny Barnycz selected Barco as its first and only choice for LED: “Vornado wanted to make a big splash in an already-crowded outdoor advertising market. Barco’s latest high-resolution LED is extremely vivid, clear and crisp. For high-profile retailers who invest millions in their brand, this color accuracy and uniformity is critical to reinforcing their tremendous brand equity.”
The team chose the Barco TF10 10mm pixel pitch LED due to its industry-leading image quality and all-weather robustness. Featuring 6,500 nits, the LED provides excellent brightness and 20 percent higher contrast than alternative LED solutions, enabling images to look as brilliant in direct sunlight as at night time, even in luminous environments. The TF10 also consumes 20 percent less power than other displays on the market.
