British Columbia has an immigration program split into two categories. The Strategic Occupations Stream, requires all applicants to have a valid job offer that conforms to certain requirements from an employer in British Columbia. British Columbia's Business Immigration Stream requires that the applicant invest in or purchase a business in British Columbia.

The Strategic Occupations Stream, requires all applicants to have a valid job offer that conforms to certain requirements from an employer in British Columbia. British Columbia's Business Immigration Stream requires that the applicant invest in or purchase a business in British Columbia.

Fast-track option: Applicants under the Business Skills and Regional Business programs, can fast-track their nomination in British Columbia by making a $125,000 refundable performance deposit and signing a Deposit Agreement with the province.
