Family-style Italian restaurant, Buca di Beppo, is honoring senior citizens in celebration of National Senior Citizen’s Day. On Sunday, August 21, all seniors who dine-in at any Buca di Beppo location will receive one complimentary slice of Homemade Cheesecake with any purchase.

Orlando, Florida (August 18, 2011) – Family-style Italian restaurant, Buca di Beppo, is honoring senior citizens in celebration of National Senior Citizen’s Day. On Sunday, August 21, all seniors who dine-in at any Buca di Beppo location will receive one complimentary slice of Homemade Cheesecake with any purchase.

The official holiday was marked with a special delivery to the Lake Mary Health and Rehabilitation Center to feed forty seniors. The group feasted on Buca’s Signature Lasagna, Garlic Bread as well as Homemade Cheesecake.

In August of 1988, President Ronald Reagan issued Proclamation 5847, that created National Senior Citizens Day celebrated annually on August 21.
