Business Leadership Group Launches Key Executive Forum, a New Business Coaching Program in Charleston, Hilton Head and Savannah

Forum sessions focus on leadership skills for emerging business leaders. Participants will leave each session with a specific, tangible take-away they can implement fully or partially in their respective companies.

Beaufort, SC - October 8, 2009 - The Business Leadership Group, the business consulting arm of The Alternative Board -- TAB-LowCountry, has launched a new program called Key Executive Forum. It will provide the tools for key executives, emerging leaders and partners to develop their skills and expertise through a group process that will include both educational content and group/peer discussions. Participants are expected to grow in understanding of business in its entirety and become able to apply their newly acquired knowledge to their specific companies.
Attendees will meet monthly for four hours over a one-year period; approximately 50% of the time will be devoted to business education and 50% to peer discussions. Sessions will consist of direct teaching by different management experts, followed by application of the subject matter to actual business situations. All sessions will be chaired by at least one of the four principals of the Business Leadership Group. Participants will leave each session with a specific, tangible take-away they can implement fully or partially in their respective companies. There will be “homework” assignments designed to prepare for the next session as well as to reinforce learning.
Session modules are distributed among six main topics, balanced to offer the most impact on the individual and the company.
