Melbourne, Australia and Den Bosch, Netherlands, February 20, 2014 – BWise, a NASDAQ OMX (NASDAQ:NDAQ) company and a global leader in Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) software today announced that it has been selected by Deakin University, one of Australia’s largest universities with almost 47,000 students. Deakin selected BWise as its eGRC platform to support the University with enhancing its risk identification and control management strategy and to assist in achieving its business goals.

Deakin University wanted a software solution that was able to standardize its risk and controls management practices in one framework that could be embedded across the University providing one, holistic view on their risks. Established in 1974, Deakin has almost 47,000 students and is Australia's ninth-largest university.
