CA Technologies Appoints Jon Hunter Senior Vice President, North America Sales

ISLANDIA, N.Y., August 12, 2010 – CA Technologies (NASDAQ:CA) today announced that Jon Hunter has been named senior vice president for the Company’s North America Sales, where he is responsible for all sales efforts across the United States and Canada.

In his new role, Hunter is focusing on growing sales in North America by cultivating exceptional customer partnerships, leveraging a world-class sales team, and developing and implementing sales strategies, and go to market plans. He reports directly to Mark Thompson, CA Technologies general manager and managing director, North America and Europe.

“Jon is one of the most talented sales leaders in the technology industry, and for the past fifteen years at CA Technologies he has successfully built strong customer relationships by helping top IT leaders solve complex business and IT issues,” said Thompson. ”His ability to lead top-notch sales organizations and drive market growth makes him a perfect fit to lead our North American sales team.”

For the last two years, Hunter has led the West sales area, with the region holding the top-performing area in North America for both of those years. He also has held the position of vice president, Regional Sales, managing CA Technologies business in the Rocky Mountain territory. Throughout his more than 15 years with the company, Hunter has maintained an intense focus on understanding the customers’ business needs and helping them address their organizational challenges through technology solutions to improve their return on investment.
