Call for Entries to Best of the Mountains Awards

(August 19, 2009) Asheville, N.C. – The Public Relations Association of Western North Carolina (PRAWNC) invites all Western North Carolina communications professionals to submit their best works to the 2009 Best of the Mountains Awards. The prestigious PRAWNC Annual Best of the Mountains Awards’ program was formed to celebrate and recognize excellence in Western North Carolina public relations and marketing communications. The program offers both area organizations and agencies the opportunity to submit their best communications campaigns, initiatives or projects for judging in 12 major categories.

The deadline for entries is 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 14. For eligibility purposes, all entries must have been completed and used between April 1, 2008 and August 31, 2009. Entries can be mailed or hand-delivered to:

Each entry will be judged by a panel of judges, comprised of well-known area communication professionals and educators. Winners will be recognized at an evening reception held at The Farm in Candler, N.C., on Thursday, Oct. 22.
