Dannon Yogurt dropped the Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, a day after his sexist comments toward Charlotte Observer reporter Jourdan Rodrigue. But, Black Twitter has since discovered that Rodrigue has shared some pretty racist comments in her past.

First, let’s talk Newton.

We are shocked and disheartened at the behavior and comments of Cam Newton towards Jourdan Rodrigue, which we perceive as sexist and disparaging to all women,” Neuwirth, senior director of external communications for Dannon, said in a statement.

Since 2015, Newton has represented Dannon as the spokesperson for their Oikos line of Greek yogurt. Although he’ll still get paid through the life of his contract (gotta love those contracts), he won’t be appearing in any ads….anytime soon.

In case you missed it….Rodrigue tried to ask Newton a pretty basic question about their game strategy and he, pretty condescendingly, replied:

“It’s funny to hear a female talk about routes like…it’s funny.”

Wondering if anyone can explain to me what is so funny about a “ talking about routes”
