CampusEAI Consortium's myCampus Integrates With Internet2 Shibboleth^®

December 4, 2009 -CampusEAI Consortium, a global not-for-profit information technology services and consulting provider, announced the immediate support for Internet2’s Middleware initiative Shibboleth^®. By releasing Internet2 Shibboleth^®support for the myCampus Web 2.0 Portal, CampusEAI Consortium continues to show its commitment to the Development and Implementation of Global e-Education Standards.

The CampusEAI myCampus Internet2 Shibboleth^®- based Single Sign-on and Federation was developed specifically to address the challenges of:

• Multiple passwords required for multiple applications
• Scaling the account management of multiple applications
• Security issues associated with accessing third-party services
• Privacy
• Interoperability within and across organizational boundaries
• Enabling institutions to choose their authentication technology
• Enabling service providers to control access to their resources
