The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) will recognize Minnesota's top technology companies and individuals at the November 3 awards ceremony

, was created for the School of Public Service Leadership to provide a multidisciplinary experience in an online, asynchronous learning environment. Riverbend City allows participants to step into various public service leadership roles, strengthening the collaboration skills important to managing crisis situations.

Being a finalist is motivating for us, and pushes us to continue to innovate,” said Jesse Rosel, Capella’s manager of Course Media. “This project has been something we’ve been working on for a few years, and it’s a great feeling to be recognized for it.”

The 12th AnnualTekne Awards, which will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Thursday, November 3, recognizes Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.

Another finalist for the EduTech Award is the innovative startup companySophia, a social teaching and learning platform that integrates education with technology thatCapella Education Companyhas invested in.
