Capita is set to create 100 new jobs in Scotland as it expands its Forres contact centre, announced local managing director, Bruce MacLeod, today.

The new roles will help a major energy company’s customers to enquire about their bills, make payments, set up direct debits and get refunds.  Recruitment starts in late November and the company hopes to have all the new staff on board by February 2012.

Bruce MacLeod continued: “When Capita was considering where to expand its contact centre operations it looked at a number of possible options. That it chose Moray is recognition of the exceptional customer service the local people of Moray deliver to our customers. Capita is proud to be associated with Moray and investing in Scotland.

“We are looking for talented individuals, who have a proven track record in quality customer service, to be part of the growth of an existing energy account, based in Strathcona House in Forres retail park, and can provide excellent opportunities for the right candidates.  Applicants should have the ability, drive and enthusiasm to work to targets and have a ‘people centred’ approach to customer service displaying empathy, understanding and professionalism.”
