LUBBOCK, Texas, July 16, 2014 — Rural lending cooperative Capital Farm Credit recently hosted the second of three Next Generation Agriculture Conferences on the campus of Texas Tech University.
Nearly 100 agriculture producers participated in the event- networking and learning about relevant topics including financial management, agricultural economic forecasts, planning and budgeting, and succession planning and management.
The last Next Generation Ag Conference of 2014 will be November 12 at the MPEC in Wichita Falls. Event curriculum is provided by Texas Agrilife Extension. Each conference is free with breakfast and lunch provided and attendees leave with a binder full of presentation and relative educational material.
