Certification by PCI Qualified Security Assessor, Tevora, ensures compliance with data security standards
San Jose, Calif. – August 27, 2014 – CDNetworks has achieved PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standard) Certification for the fourth year in a row. PCI DSS Certification by a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), Tevora, ensures that customers can trust CDNetworks with their sensitive data including payment card information.
“CDNetworks has recognized the importance of PCI Certification longer than any other CDN,” said Jeff Kim, President & COO, CDNetworks. “Our customers rely on CDNetworks to protect their customers’ personal information. Each year, more and more customers are requiring PCI certification and not just in retail, all industries are seeing the value.”
The PCI security standard dictates a set of comprehensive requirements for “enhancing payment account data security” such as credit card numbers, names, addresses, email, etc. It was developed by the founding members of the PCI Security Standards Council, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa Inc., to help facilitate the broad adoption of consistent data security measures on a global basis.
CDNetworks’ Dynamic Acceleration solutions adhere to the requirements of the PCI standards regarding system- and application-level policies that include log data centralization, monitoring, and reporting for security and audit purposes. “As a PCI DSS Certified solution, CDNetworks has met the comprehensive data security standards set by the PCI Security Council,” said Ray Zadjmool, President of PCI QSA Company, Tevora. “Only companies approved by the PCI Security Council, such as Tevora, can provide testing and certification.”
