Eton Institute, the largest training and development centre in the UAE, is hosting a free ‘Chinese cultural evening’ to give UAE residents a taste of the ancient and mystical Chinese culture. The Chinese cultural evening will feature the best of Chinese culture, tradition, food, surprises and more.

The Chinese cultural evening will feature the best of Chinese culture, tradition, food, surprises and more.

Dubai, February 10^th 2013 – Also known as the ‘Spring Festival’, the Chinese New Year is one of the most important traditional holidays in China. Not only are the origins of this 15 day festival centuries old but it is also surrounded by several myths and traditions which adds to its significance. The Chinese New Year follows the animal zodiac and this year is the ‘Year of the Snake,’ also known as little dragon. Enigmatic, introspective, sophisticated and collected, the snake is the sixth sign in the Chinese Horoscope.

Eton Institute’s Chinese cultural evening will take participants back in time to ancient Chinese traditions, customs and wisdom, where they will get to experience the festivities of the Chinese New Year and savour the rich heritage, food and unique Chinese language.
