UPM Raflatac is committed to the Latin American market – and it shows. The company is the gold sponsor at this year’sLabel Summit Latin America, which is being held May 17-18, 2011, in São Paulo, Brazil.

During the event, UPM Raflatac is exhibiting its wide array of prime and VIP labeling solutions and sharing the good news about its newly acquired production capabilities in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The company is also featuring UPM RFID HF and UHF RFID tags and inlays.

Mr.Jouko Lähepelto, Senior Vice President, Americas & Asia Pacific, is the keynote speaker for the summit. His presentation covers trends in the global and Latin American labeling markets.

Mr.Maurício Médici, General Manager, UPM Raflatac Brazil, is presenting on intelligent labels and interactive labels. His presentation discusses Radio Frequency Identification labeling for retail use.
