The "Certified Talent Management and HR Planning in Oil and Gas" workshop will take place in Al KHobar, Saudi Arabia on 27 Feb 2012.


February 16, 2012 - (PressReleasePoint) - This 3-day workshop will explore both the Talent Management and HR planning processes required in the context of Oil and Gas organisation’s Business Strategies and most importantly help the participants develop a practical action plan for the implementation of a Talent Management Program for their organisation.

 
The workshop will blend practical and theoretical approaches, as extensive use will be made of CIPD research and best practice case studies to illustrate practical examples of effective talent management program and how these approaches can be modified and applied within the specific context of Gulf-based Oil and Gas organisations.
 
• Understand the principles of strategic HR planning in Oil and Gas • Understand the role of talent management and HR planning in Oil
and Gas • Develop a Talent Management strategy for their organisation • Identify practical actions for how to recruit, retain and manage key talent in the Oil and Gas environment • Recognise the practical challenges their organisations may face in the recruitment, retention and management of key talent and identify practical ways to overcome them • Develop practical action plans for a talent management program within their organisation.
 
This course is delivered by an expert CIPD Enterprises trainer with extensive experience in the Middle East / Gulf, who has lived and worked in the region for the last 5 years.
 
The course will be delivered in a highly practical style with many opportunities for interaction between participants and the trainer. Where relevant, the key learning points will be related to case studies from the oil and gas sector.

He has extensive experience in the recruitment, retention and development of talent; incentive reward schemes and the
development of learning cultures. In addition, he has expertise in devising and implementing organisational restructures, performance improvement programmes, employee reward schemes and competency assessment frameworks. His contribution has resulted in significant improvement in key organisational performance indicators.
