CGC achieves ISO certifications

One of the first technology companies in Qatar gets ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certificates covering its entire business domains 

lang="EN-IN">Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC), one of the first IT, Telecom and Engineering solutions & services providers in Qatar, has achieved three international standard quality certifications

covering its entire business domains. Besides attaining

the Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001:2007, CGC also received recertification to the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008. Significantly, these three prestigious certifications cover CGC’s vast business portfolio, fully demonstrating its upgraded capabilities and increased commitment to best practices and principles as per international standards. The certifications came as a result of CGC’s well defined approach and full adherence to quality, environment, occupational health and safety of their employees and stakeholders.

The scope of these three quality certifications apply to CGC’s wide range of services and operations, including consultancy, front-end design & detailed design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, commissioning, operations & maintenance of products, systems & integrated solutions and other associated services for large turnkey projects in telecom, ELV, enterprise communications, networking, surveillance, security and radio communications, business automation, e-Business, CAD, 3D Modeling and GIS as well as distribution, retail and service of electronic and technology products and solutions.

The accreditation was awarded to CGC by Velosi Quality Management International Ltd (VQMI), the world’s leading inspection, verification testing and certification agency, after a detailed assessment and auditing on CGC’s overall business operations.
