Chris Lovell Joins Studley's Miami Office
Former Senior Vice President Returns to Advisory Firm Studley

Miami, FL(May 6, 2009) - After a five year absence, 25-year veteran Chris Lovell has rejoined Studley as a senior managing director in its Miami office, according to the international commercial real estate services firm. He will work closely with central financial district tenants in Fort Lauderdale and Miami and will concentrate his efforts on further developing the firm’s financial services and banking practice.
Mr. Lovell began his career as a tenant advisor in Studley’s Midtown Manhattan office in 1980 where he was responsible for transaction lease analysis and management of corporate brokerage accounts. In 1986, he established Studley’s San Francisco office, which he managed for 12 years before returning to national corporate account management. As one of the firm’s original analysts, Mr. Lovell is known for having assisted in the development of Studley’s first computer-based lease and purchase analysis program.
Throughout his tenant advisory career, Mr. Lovell has been involved in more than 250 transactions totaling in excess of 7 million square feet. His roster of prestigious tenants includes: Lazard Frères, Shearson Lehman Brothers, Smith Barney, Cowen & Co, Gruntal & Co., and Charles Schwab. His practice has also included branch banking consulting and brokerage responsibilities for large international banks such as Credit Suisse, Société Générale, Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Mitsui Taiyo Kobe Bank, Ltd., Far East National Bank and The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Prior to rejoining Studley’s Miami office, Mr. Lovell was the chief operating officer of Reliance Housing Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit affordable housing development and management company based in Fort Lauderdale, where he was involved with the post-Katrina acquisition and re-development to workforce housing of 200 Carondelet in downtown New Orleans, LA.
