All of these new products are backwards compatible with previous Citizen models and fully plug and play with current competitor’s models.

With improved designs, the new models are engineered to provide an unsurpassed customer experience:

1. The CL-S700 prints at up-to 10 inches per second – the fastest in the category. It’s all-steel frame and cabinet is constructed for ruggedness and reliability. It uses direct thermal or thermal transfer technology as well as a revolutionary Cross-Emulation™ control board to allow users to easily switch from Datamax™ to Zebra™ emulations with the touch of a button and with the ease of a large programmable LCD control panel. The CL-S700 also features a unique front-loading rewinder option; which allows for all rewinder loading and unloading from the front of the printer, and it’s cabinet’s Hi-Lift™ design that opens vertically a full 90° allows for easy media loading, easy access and placement of the printer in confined settings. It ships with Windows™ 2000, XP and Vista drivers and also comes with label making software.The CL-S700 features parallel, serial, USB and Ethernet interfaces as options, and it is backed by a two-year warranty.

2. The CT-S851 represents the industry’s first “Front Exit” and “Intelligent” POS printer with a back lit graphic LCD display; which includes an editor to customize display messages – a great value-add for end users. At 300mm/second print speed, it is the “Next Best POS Printing Solution” when a front exit receipt is required. It is equipped to send the printer status back, has an USB-Hub interface to hook up another input device, such as a signature or PIN pad or biometric scanner (finger print reader), to the CT-S851 printer instead of to the PC – minimizing extra cables. The CT-S851 is ideal for a variety of applications and any environment, and comes standard with USB interface, RS-232 serial or Centronics parallel interfaces as well as the following printer drivers: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Java POS, OPOS and CUPS.

3. The CT-S601 receipt printer moves at 200mm/second, providing fast printing results for customers. It is also equipped to send the printer status back; three LED’s and a buzzer indicate printer status and errors. It’s versatile design supports three-inch (83 and 80 mm) and two-inch (60 and 58 mm) paper widths. A built-in power supply option is available. The unit has memory switches making customization possible, and it supports barcode and 2D barcode symbologies.
