Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd, the publishers of Clean India Journal, in association with Afidamp Servizi, Italy - one of the largest international trade show organisers in the world for the cleaning industry, is set to present the second international cleaning show Clean India Pulire 2009 in Mumbai at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon.

Clean India Pulire 2009 is supported by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, The Council of the EU Chambers of Commerce in India, the Italian Trade Commission & Italian Ministry of Economical Development. The event will also be graced by the presence of the Italian Trade Commisioner Augusto Di Giacinto.

The Indian cleaning industry has been growing at ~20 – 30 % year-on-year and its size can be presently pegged at ~Rs.3000 crore. There is a huge demand for outsourced Facility Management/professional housekeeping services and for mechanised cleaning across all sectors. This show is a step towards creating greater awareness for maintaining international cleanliness standards across all industries. Clean India Pulire 2009 is an endeavor to bring together all participants of the Indian cleaning industry to showcase latest innovations, products and services in cleaning and hygiene and facilitate exchange of technologies, joint ventures and partnerships.

The event is expected to have over 120 national and international brands from over 10 countries, showcasing cleaning equipment and hygiene products. The highlight of Clean India Pulire 2009 event will be a two-day seminar on housekeeping/ Facility Management,.
