Client growth, awards and top IR ranking mark another successful quarter for Bronto Software

Durham, NC – October 2, 2012 - Bronto Software, the leading marketing platform for commerce, announced today the completion of a successful third quarter. Acting on the increased importance of data-driven, relevant marketing to customers across multiple channels, a number of online retailers and branded manufacturers, including Peruvian Connection, Silver Jeans, Cheaper Than Dirt, Dwell Studio, and Polk Audio, now rely on the Bronto Marketing Platform to drive revenue through email and cross-channel marketing. Bronto also welcomed Canadian clients, including CBC and DAVIDsTEA, as well as European brands iFlorist and Hostelworld Limited.

In September, Bronto was named the leading self-service email provider, and the second overall leading email service provider,to the Internet Retailer Top 1000. The ranking provided confirmation that Bronto’s focus on providing solutions tailored for retail and commerce continues to gain traction in the marketplace.

Over the quarter, Bronto added 16 new employees, bringing the total team size to 139, a 20% year-over-year increase in headcount. In addition to positions in sales, engineering and development, new positions have been added to the Bronto Europe office in London.   

Additional third quarter 2012 highlights include:

  • Awards: Bronto was ranked #1272 on the Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest growing private companies. With 3-year revenue growth of 243 percent, Bronto is this year’s 3rd fastest growing private software company in NC and 107th in the nation.
  • Events: Bronto exhibited at eTail Boston and the Shop.org Annual Summit. As these are key industry events for retailers, Bronto has a strong presence at both shows every year.
  • Resources: In August, Bronto unveiled the 2012 Holiday Resource Center for Retailers. The extensive portal allows retailers and commerce marketers to look at what can be learned from past holiday performance and to find top marketing advice and planning tools for the upcoming holiday season.
