Of the charity donations signed up last year in the UK through face-to-face marketing, the Cobra Group has brought in 54%. The total number of donors signed up during a one-year period ending April 2009 in UK through face-to-face marketing is 680,000. Cobra's charities division alone has accounted for 54% of this. Meanwhile according to the latest figures from the PFRA (Public Fund-raising Regulatory Association), the number of people signing up to give to charity through face-to-face fund-raising hit its highest level last year, with the number of new donors going up by 16% compared to the previous one year, i.e., 2007/08. Thrilled with this achievement, Cobra Group Vice President Michael Scully remarked, "This is huge news for our Charities Division, and should be shared across all Cobra countries. Crew Leaders should be spreading this news to their teams! It's an amazing achievement.” Big news indeed, for Cobra Group and its well-wishers.
