Cocktails for a Cause in Celebration of Lambi Fund of Haiti’s 15 Year Anniversary

NEW YORK, NY, September 8, 2009, —After fifteen years of developing sustainable development programs in Haiti, diligently working to improve the country’s economic and social conditions, and restoring environmental integrity with its one million trees campaign, Lambi Fund of Haiti turns fifteen. In celebration, friends and supporters of Lambi Fund of Haiti will gather for an intimate night of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at a fundraising soiree on Thursday, September 24th from 6-8pm at New York’s Bubble Lounge with host, Harry Hjardemaal.

Over the years, Lambi Fund of Haiti has been supported by a host of philanthropists, special interest groups, and individuals passionate about issues ranging from deforestation to economic self-sufficiency to women’s empowerment. In light of the four hurricanes that devastated Haiti in the summer of 2008, the organization received a tremendous amount of support and financial contributions that made it possible to implement an aggressive ‘After the Storms’ emergency campaign. In gratitude of all of the support received, the Cocktails for a Cause fundraising soiree celebrates the organization’s 15 year anniversary while also reinforcing the need to continue supporting the economic plight of our closest neighbors in Haiti.

The Cocktails for a Cause fundraising soiree is complimentary to attend with generous donation recommended.
