Fort Collins, Colorado, September 20, 2011 - The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states candidates in accounting received starting offers averaging $48,993 in 2009; that the annual median salary of an accountant as of 2008 was $59,430, and employment rates for accountants are estimated to rise by 22% by 2018. *In order to prepare their accounting students for even brighter careers, CollegeAmerica now offers a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Forensic Accounting Emphasis as part of their extensive list of degrees at the associate’s, and bachelor’s level.
