Cloud-based technology implementation to streamline health program establishment licensing and inspection, increase department efficiency

SAN RAMON, Calif. – August 30, 2017 – Accela, the leading provider of cloud-based productivity and civic engagement solutions for government, today announced the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has gone live with Accela Environmental Health on the Accela Civic Platform. The CDPHE selected the Civic Platform to help support its business processes and promote improvements to the department’s efficiency, effectiveness, data quality and security. The implementation demonstrates Accela’s ability to provide robust, flexible solutions for the full range of state-level environmental health programs and included retail food, dairy, schools and institutions, daycares, manufactured food and environmental agriculture.

With this implementation, Accela and Colorado are poised to offer local health departments access to the platform, strengthening the practice of environmental health in the state.
