PORTLAND, OR (January 8th, 2010) - The Art Institute of Portland is proud to present the second installment of our Community by Design Speaker Series with Roland Gauthier, Michael Kuehn, and Alex Tysowsky of Hinge Digital. With over three decades of experience at studios that include Disney, Sony Imageworks, and Laika, their body of work consists of films and animated features like, Spiderman, Open Season, The Matrix, and Harry Potter, as well as commercials for M&M’s, Ben & Jerry’s, and Honda.

Please join us as Roland, Michael, and Alex discuss why they’ve chosen Portland, OR to house their animation and visual effects studio, the benefits of our local market, and the challenges that exist when marketing a creative business in a tough economy.
