Zane Rigler, a graduate of James M. Bennett High School, is congratulated by Viren Sharma for earning the inaugural Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore’s Viren and Rekha Sharma Scholarship. Zane will attend Salisbury University in the fall. The new scholarship was established by the Sharmas to support students who are pursuing a college degree in engineering, math or science.

Over 200 scholarships worth almost $300,000 have been awarded to deserving local students throughout the three county region. The Viren and Rekha Sharma Scholarship, like other scholarship funds, is a permanent endowment fund held at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.
