Watson will participate on a panel presentation titled “ASPs and RCOs, Are They Right For You?” The discussion will center on the healthcare industry’s current perception of the Application Service Provider (ASP) model and the Remote Computing Option (RCO). It will cover technology features and financing issues, as well as how healthcare organizations can benefit from the unique value propositions offered by ASPs and RCOs. The panel discussion is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1. Williams’ panel, titled “Business Process Outsourcing for Providers,” will compare and contrast BPOs and outsourced applications. The panel will address such topics as the differences between BPOs and outsourcing, which processes healthcare provider organizations should consider, and the value of offshore outsourcing.
