Concur and Southwest Airlines Sign New Access Agreement
Redmond, Wash., August 24, 2009–Concur(NASDAQ: CNQR), the world’s leading provider of on-demandEmployee Spend Managementservices, today announced that it has signed a content agreement with Southwest Airlines, which gives Concur® Travel & Expense client direct access to Southwest Airlines fares and schedules.
This agreement provides Concur clients with direct access to the best Southwest inventory options available – access unrivaled by any other corporate booking tool in the market today. Business travelers currently using Concur’s travel booking technology will continue to access the SWABIZ fares they are accustomed to purchasing, while Southwest and Concur work together to deliver an even more streamlined booking experience and seamless connection through Concur’s industry-leading corporate travel and expense technology.
This agreement provides Concur clients with direct access to content from Southwest, including:
-- Integrated display with enhanced functionality such as live availability and last seat inventory
-- Pricing functionality that will support all pricing rules, fare rules and return of ticket number
-- Support for low fare searches that return the lowest fares available
-- Booking and ticketing that supports the Loyalty/Rapid Rewards member number
-- A wide range of additional functional benefits, including deferred ticketing, cancel reservation, retrieve reservation and exchange funds towards the purchase of new itineraries
