Alberta, Canada, December 01, 2008 -(PressReleasePoint)- Congratulations to Alberta's Next Top Model's 15 contestants from Group B moving on to Stage 2.

"The contestants were better prepared this round, they really put in an effort. Even the ones that got eliminated, we encourage them to come back next year." stated Michael, the Producer for the competition. "Most of the contestants that got eliminated took it well, but there's always a few bitter ones." He added. "Don't be a sore loser, keep your composure and behave in a professional manner. If you got eliminated because you didn't show up or because you just aren't photogenic enough, don't blame the competition or bad mouth it. It only shows your insecurities." "Stop being a DIVA!" laughed Michael.

The females out numbered the males ten to one this round. There was one male that advanced to Stage 2, Travis B. We asked, J.C, one of the judges, what he thought of Travis. "Travis has a great look and a humble personality to match. We need more contestants like him." "He's naturally photogenic and in
great physical shape, he actually has a good chance to be one of the 20 finalists." "We need more males to try out for Alberta's Next Top Model. The 2 males that have advanced, Travis and Michael have a great chance of being one of the 20 finalists" added J.C.

Congratulations to the following contestants from Group B that have moved on the Stage 2. They will strut their stuff on the Runway in Stage 2.

The following contestants are advancing; Amanda T., Candice R., Jasmine A., Karen C., Kristen A., Kyla H., Linsay W., Maddison L., Megan M., Samantha P., Taryn P., Travis B., Ashley M., Heather M., Laura C.
