Evan Suhr is the Conservancy's new Land Management Technician, working at the Niobrara Valley Preserve.

Suhr gained experience at The Crane Trust as a habitat manager, and has a strong background with controlled burns.  He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  "Evan grew up in Valentine, so his knowledge of the area combined with his education and experience made him a great fit," said Rich Walters, Niobrara Valley Preserve Program Director.

Suhr's duties will include general land management duties on the 56,000-acre Preserve.
