Convergys to Partner with Laredo Animal Protective Society for ‘Adopt-A-Pet Day.’

(Cincinnati, Ohio & Laredo, Texas; February 26, 2013) Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in customer management, will partner with the Laredo Animal Protective Society (LAPS) to host an “Adopt-A-Pet Day” at the Convergys Laredo site on Wednesday, February 27.

Interested community members are invited to join the Laredo Animal Protective Society on-site from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Wednesday, February 27, at 2451 Monarch Drive Laredo, TX 78045. The Laredo Animal Protective Society will have 10 pets for adoption, and they will be taking donations. KNEX (Hot 106.1 FM) will also be there with a Free Radio Remote for the cause.

Convergys is currently hiring for over 100 full-time customer services and sales positions for its contact center. Local human resources staff and leadership will be available to address questions about Convergys, and share their perspectives on the value of employment with the company.
