Cornell Police seek campus and community help identifying subject

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell University Police Department is investigating the discovery of a camera that appears to have been covertly placed in the first floor women’s bathroom of Jameson Hall, North Campus No. 1.

The camera was discovered shortly before 9 a.m. today by a Cornell staff member.  The employee notified their immediate supervisor who in turn notified Cornell University Police. Images from the camera are currently being evaluated by Cornell University Police investigators for possible leads.

Investigators are seeking help in identifying a male subject believed to be connected with this incident (see attached photo).

If anyone on campus or in the surrounding community knows this subject, or has any information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact Cornell University Police by phone at 255-1111, or by email at cup-inv@cornell.edu.
