In this time each attendee is required to complete a project, value stream maps and an assessment of their company in relation to the lean principles.

Beginning March 10th, a public course on Lean Manufacturing Tools runs over 4 days, concluding in June.

In this time each attendee is required to complete a project, value stream maps and an assessment of their company in relation to the lean principles.

The course is approved to FETAC Level 5. Each submission is reviewed by an external examiner on behalf of FETAC. Details of the course content can be found at FETAC Course Detail

This module provides the learner with many of the tools to transform their manufacturing organisation into a leaner and more competitive enterprise. The module is designed to give the learner a detailed knowledge of how to use tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S Workplace Organisation, Kanban, SMED, Standard Work and Mistake-proofing.

ETAC are working in conjunction with ASST and SQT to deliver this course.
