Country Singer Lisa Matassa Releases New CD

(Long Island, NY) - Country Singer Lisa Matassa released her newest album "Me Time" which is spreading across radio waves everywhere, and pleasing her listeners with her powerful yet sultry voice.

Much of Lisa Matassa's EP, Me Time was originally composed and written in Nashville. Some of the tracks were recorded at Jim "Moose" Brown's studio in Nashville and the legendary Cove City Sound Studios in Glen Cove, New York where Long Island music legends like Billy Joel, Mariah Carey, Taylor Dayne, as well as musical icons Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Celine Dion and many more have recorded.

Me Time was released independently through LMA Productions/It Is What It Is Records, and is currently available through www.lisamatassa.com, iTunes, Amazon MP3, Spotify, MediaNet, eMusic, Zune, Nokia, Shockhound, Napster, iHeartRadio and VerveLife.

"Me Time" is not only a CD packed full of great music, but it's a tribute to a dream fulfilled and a road towards new goals.

In the early 80s, Matassa was on fire with her solo music career as a pop music artist producing hit singles like "I've Got the Hots For You"and " Rock Me Baby"; Lisa eventually put her music career on the backburner to become a wife and mother on New York's Long Island. That fire inside her to perform and record music never died, and now at 40-something and with stunning good looks, Lisa is conquering the music scene once again, with her own unique style that she has lovingly coined, Long Island Country! "I bring a unique perspective to my music now," asserts Lisa. "Not many mothers with teenagers embark on a recording career later in life."
