D2Hawkeye®, Inc., the market leader in transforming healthcare data into actionable information, today announced the addition of Nadine Hays as senior vice president of business development. Hays joins D2Hawkeye from McKesson Health Solutions, where she served as vice president of strategy and business development. In 1998, Hays founded InfoMiners, Inc. to develop secure, Web-based decision support systems for healthcare payors. By securing venture funding, training a national sales and marketing team, and negotiating all customer contracts, Hays helped build the company which was acquired in 2000 by United Healthcare/Ingenix.

In her role at D2Hawkeye, Hays will be responsible for leading revenue generation and market facing product initiatives.

“Nadine’s solid track record in leading sales, marketing and strategy for healthcare IT companies makes her a perfect fit for D2Hawkeye,” said Robert London, M.D., Chief Development Officer of D2Hawkeye. “With Nadine joining our team of talented executives, we are well poised at this critical time in the healthcare market and can help provide the better visibility, better outcomes and reduced costs that are needed.”

In her previous role at McKesson, Hays managed marketing activities for more than 40 product offerings spanning multiple markets and played an instrumental role in expanding the company’s alliance partner program to increase revenue and open new channels. Prior to McKesson, Hays spent two years at Ingenix, Inc, a subsidiary of United Health Group, as SVP of sales and VP of decision support solutions.

“It’s an exciting time to join the D2Hawkeye team as the company continues to solidify itself as the market leader in turning healthcare data into knowledge and action,” said Hayes. “I’ve been in this industry for a while, but when I first saw D2Hawkeye’s technology, I was very impressed. That’s why I’m here, and I look forward to building on D2Hawkeye’s momentum.”

In addition to her positions at McKesson and Ingenix, Hayes also served as VP for various healthcare and software companies including National Healthtech, Capital Vectors and De Anza Corporation. She began her career as an attorney and securities council where she specialized in mergers, acquisitions and public/private offerings. Hays graduated from Loyola Law School and holds a Bachelors of Arts from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
