Danielle Scott Joins IBISWorld As Managing Editor





LOS ANGELES – (March 9, 2010)

– IBISWorld, a Santa Monica-based industry research firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Danielle Scott to the position of Managing Editor, where she will be responsible for building and managing a team of copy editors and production assistants to publish industry reports.

Scott most recently served as the Managing Editor of the Graziadio Business Report, the online business journal and blog for the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University. Previously, she was Assistant Director of Public Relations and Communications at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, where she led the marketing, public relation, and communication initiatives for the department of obstetrics and gynaecology. Her experience also includes working as an Editor for Alert Global Media Inc., where she managed print and web financial trade publications, editorial, press materials and training events.

Scott is currently pursuing her MBA in the fully employed program at Pepperdine University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and English Literature from the University of Miami. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Scott currently resides in Santa Monica, Calif..
