David Angier Steps Up as Director of Product Management for 8e6 Technologies

ORANGE, CA (June 28, 2005) -- 8e6 Technologies, a leading supplier of Internet Filtering and Reporting Appliances, today announced the promotion of David Angier to Director of Product Management. Angier joined 8e6 Technologies in September of 2004 as Senior Product Manager and in the past 10 months has made a significant impact on the company’s development process and product delivery.

David's experience in both Marketing and Product Management has been a welcome addition to our team at 8e6 Technologies,” said George Shih, CEO of 8e6 Technologies. “David is truly the key conduit between 8e6’s customers and the development team, gathering and using customer feedback to help develop new product features. I am confident that in his new role he will continue to be a major force in improving our image and relationships with customers.”

Angier’s responsibilities as Director of Product Management include understanding and prioritizing the customer's needs as they relate to 8e6’s products, and working with the development team to turn those needs into realities. He is the main link between Marketing and Sales and the Product Development departments, overseeing the entire product life cycle from definition to launch. In addition to traveling throughout the U.S. and overseas to interface with customers, Angier is also key in assessing client feedback and applying it to 8e6’s ongoing marketing programs.

With over 10 years of progressive experience in product and service marketing, product management and business development Angier came to 8e6 from Verio, Inc., a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone, where he served for six years as the Director of Marketing. Prior to Verio Angier was the Manager of Business Development for San Francisco-based Mondex, LLC, an electronic payments company. Before joining Mondex Angier was the Project and Marketing Manager in the Electronic Payments Division for Wells Fargo & Company.

Angier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He currently resides in Santa Ana, CA with his wife and two children.
