“Everything we do to streamline retail operational efficiencies, increase employee and customer engagement and facilitate compliance using Dayforce Human Capital Management is based on customer needs, desires and input,” says John Orr, senior vice president of retail strategy, Ceridian. “Outstanding customer satisfaction is a direct result of our product and service. We’re extremely pleased to be recognized as a leading software vendor in so many categories. When our customers are willing to sing our praises in the marketplace, that’s what we work so hard to achieve – it’s humbling and speaks volumes.”
Dayforce HCM – a single, real-time application with one employee record, one user experience and zero interfaces, consists of Payroll, Workforce Management, Benefits, and Human Resources, as well as associated Tax Filing capability.
“Ceridian changed the way we do business and helped us optimize our labor scheduling chain-wide,” says Chris Salles, director of store labor, Guitar Center. “We required a blend of off-the-shelf and custom software, and we deployed it in atypical order,” adds Salles “Dayforce HCM has supported our needs, no matter the quirks, all along, which is especially impressive for a provider that works in a hosted environment.”
For Aéropostale, Ceridian Dayforce was the first store operations solution delivered in SaaS fashion. “The company’s executives are veterans in the retail workforce management space, and our cultures really meshed,” says Julie Sedlock, group VP of store operations at Aéropostale “The ROI that we’ve experienced on our investment is greater than what we anticipated.”
"To be ranked by retailers in any category within The Software LeaderBoard is an accomplishment and the result of doing good work with and for retailers," says Joe Skorupa, group editor-in-chief, RIS News. "Dayforce HCM was ranked in the top ten of nine separate categories and received top ranking in Innovation, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Recommendation to other retailers. The Dayforce HCM solution is transforming Ceridian into a top ranked provider and places it into an elite status among cloud-based solution companies. A record number of retailers participated this year, making the Dayforce HCM accomplishments especially noteworthy."
Retailers should note that demonstrations of Dayforce HCM will take place at the National Retail Federation Annual Convention & Expo (NRF) on January 13 – 14, 2014 at booth #3355 in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
