Deadline for EBERO RIF Extended
23 November 2011
ICANN had a Question and Answers(Q&A) teleconference with interested parties on 16 November 2011 and received a higher number of questions than expected. For that reason, ICANN is extending the deadline for the Emergency Back-End Registry Operator Request for Information (EBERO RFI) to 5 December 2011 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. The original deadline was 30 November 2011. This extension will allow the RFI respondents to review the Q&A and better prepare. The Q&A posting is expected early next week.
ICANN is looking forward to receiving comprehensive information from the potential candidates. Negotiations with certain respondents to the RFI that provide comprehensive information will be initiated for the purpose of creating process details and entering into an agreement to provide backend services. Please direct your information toebero@icann.org. Responses after the deadline will not be considered.
The original RFI announcement with all the RFI details can be found here:http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-2-14sep11-en.htm
