Delta's winter operational teams were fully engaged and working early this morning to keep flights moving safely as a large winter weather system brought snowfall across the Midwest. In anticipation of the storm, on Thursday evening Delta proactively cancelled approximately 175 Delta Connection regional flights to protect the operation's momentum.

winter weather waiver has been issued for affected cities including Chicago-Midway, Chicago-O'Hare, Cleveland, Detroit and Milwaukee to allow customers to make a one-time change to their travel plans without incurring a fee.

Customers are advised to check Delta.com or the Fly Delta Mobile App for the most up-to-date flight status information.
