Norcross, GA, April 28, 2014 – Comverge, Inc., the leading provider of Intelligent Energy Management solutions for residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) customers, will bring together demand management industry leaders and visionaries at the 2014 Comverge Utility Conference. Utility executives, industry regulators, Comverge customers and partners, and other demand-side management professionals will attend the three-day event to share best practices, discuss industry trends and learn about the latest Comverge solutions. Held at the Loews New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana, the 2014 Comverge Utility Conference will take place from May 5-7, 2014.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Engaging Customers. Discovering Solutions.” This is a reflection of the significant changes the energy management industry is currently undergoing, including the need for utilities to develop advanced customer engagement strategies, and the continued evolution of two-way communications technology that increases the effectiveness of demand response and energy efficiency programs. As a result, this year’s conference will cover topics ranging from the critical role demand-side management plays in the energy mix to best practices for increasing customer engagement in energy management initiatives.
The agenda features nearly 15 sessions, including a keynote from Lieutenant General Russel L. Honoré (Ret.), opening remarks from Greg Dukat, Comverge’s chairman, president and CEO, and Brent Dreher, Comverge’s chief sales and marketing officer, as well as a solution roadmap update from Mike Ratliff, Comverge’s CTO and senior vice president of engineering.
In addition to the keynote and Comverge sessions, presenters include representatives from Duke Energy; Entergy Arkansas; Fort Collins Utilities; Gulf Power; Navigant; Pepco Holdings, Inc.; and the Smart Grid Consumer Collaborative
