Based on Starwood’s believe of the importance of the constant training of all associates and its policy of enhancing the capabilities and skills of the individuals that will lead its hotels and its different Brands worldwide toward being a World Class Brand, Mrs. Faten Halim Director of Training, Sheraton Cairo, organized seminar for the Training leaders of Starwood 10 properties in Egypt for one week on Leadership and Coaching skills for Management.
The leadership and coaching aimed at explaining the leader’s role in supporting the associate performance excellence and behaviors. Learning and development opportunities are an integrated part of the Starwood strategy to retain talent and lead with excellence.
Ms. Faten presented a demonstration of a distinct group of the most specialized programs in developing the leadership and coaching technique.
The essential objective of the training is to enable the coach, the leader and the manager of updating his leadership and coaching skills in order to be a true role model for your staff and your peers.
The principle of constant development and updating is the paramount concern of Starwood’s Management; it is considered as one of the most important appropriate effective management’s bases.
Good leadership is critical to the success of any business or organization. While some people appear to be born leaders, they can always improve their leadership skills through training and learning about new techniques. And Starwood Management is always believe on that “being a manager or a leader is a big job, and as a manager, one of your major tasks is to spearhead your staff’s professional development and always try to sustain and improve their and your managerial skills”.
So Starwood Management is always caring about offering workshops and courses that help employees to learn how to become more effective leaders.
