Making research and science more accessible – events at ETH Zurich play an important part

For ETH Zurich, an important part of social responsibility is maintaining an open dialogue, because complex issues require the sharing of information between science, business and society. Another duty is to make socially relevant topics of research accessible to a broader public.

The wide range of topics that are dealt with at ETH Zurich, and the large number of people with an interest in the university, mean that communication takes place in all kinds of different locations, with a rich diversity of channels of communication. These range from internal committees, working groups and commissions to scientific conferences and workshops and the use of the university campus as a venue for public platforms and information events.

Visiting ETH Zurich

ETH Zurich welcomes visitors: whether you want to come and see one of the latest exhibitions, take a walk across the campus or you’re simply curious about science – even if you’re not a student at ETH Zurich, you can see, learn and experience so much here!
