DISNEY XD’s SPORTSTACULAR XD CHALLENGE 2010 ENTHRALLS BENGALURU KIDS

BENGALURU: The newest programming destination for kids, Disney XD provided ‘unstoppable action’ to Bengaluru kids with the XD SPORTSTACULAR CHALLENGE 2010 presented by Boost. Over 50 schools and more than 30, 000 kids witnessed a unique, safe yet challenging rock climbing activity for the first time ever, encouraging them to discover their hidden potential.

Commenting on the event Srikanth Sarathy, Director -- Marketing, Walt Disney Television International India said, “We are glad to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for kids in Bengaluru. Disney XD is a confluence of classic Tween passions such as sports, technology & gaming and the spirit of accomplishment. It is all about challenging yourself and unstoppable energy. The Disney XD Sportstacular Challenge 2010 is extending all these aspects on-ground and we are thrilled to see the Disney XD spirit in all the kids who have participated in this activity.”

The Disney XD Sportstacular Challenge 2010 is set to reach almost 1, 20,000 kids from 200 schools across Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi. This on-ground event is a part of Disney XD’s sports-themed celebration comprising unstoppable gaming action, challenge and accomplishment, which extends from TV to online and on-ground action. The celebration features the gaming action of Aaron Stone, skateboarding adventures of Zeke & Luther, true ‘desi’ action of Cricket in Full Toss, intergalactic soccer in Galactic Football and more! As a part of Sportstacular celebrations Disney XD viewers will also get a chance to participate in the gaming championship online on www.disneyxd.in.To participate in the online gaming championship they will be required to play a set of 12 games which tests them on various skill sets.
